I have a feeling I cannot walk silently while looking through a face mesh..in fact, there would be a lot of crushed baby cranes seeing as I would fall on them repeatedly.

Oh dear....

Another wonderful job possibility. Now, I've always loved big cats and canines...but I don't think I love them this much. My favorite parts are in red.

I like how it's called the 'carcass truck' and what part of caring for carnivores involves fire arms? You don't suppose that's the method of 'euthanizing donations'?!?

A Movie Review

I just saw Stranger Than Fiction. (The one with Will Farrell who plays a character whose life is being narrated by an unknown voice/author). I liked it a lot. It wasn't a dumb comedy like Will Farrell does usually - but it did make me laugh. It was the perfect date movie/chick flick. I recommend renting it. Everyone in it was great, but the love story between Will Farrell and Maggie Gyllenhaal was kind of creepy because Will looked like her dad - other than that - great movie.

Boober

So, a guy in my English class got a yorkie without realizing that some apartments just don't allow dogs...go figure. So, he had to get rid of his yorkie by the end of the week. I offered to be a foster mom until he can find someone to buy the dog off him. Now, ponder this - who spends $500 on a dog without checking to see if they can have one first? Anyhoo, so the tale goes like this. The dog is five months old and potty trained..at least that's what I had been told - I believe when the guy in my class said 'yeah, he's potty trained' he really meant 'he goes wherever and whenever he wants'. So, I'm working on crate training..it's going well, only a few accidents so far. Plus, I'm getting paid!

His name is Jack, but I think he looks like a Fraggle, so I call him Boober. (see the resemblance?)

He's so cute! And he's such a good dog - he acts like a rug most the time, but he gets very excited around Nero. Nero is less than impressed, but he's doing better than when Anouk was here (except for when Boober tries to mate with him...).
I wonder how long I'll have him for. Probably not too long, the guy has already had a few inquiries.
